Celebrate with us July 11th & 18th
RU Center for Psychoanalysis is turning ONE!
To celebrate, we have 2 events coming up this month:
July 11th – The next installment of my Introduction to Psychoanalysis course is happening THIS Saturday, July 11th. In this class, we’ll be reviewing the life and work of Jacques Lacan and going over some of his main concepts.
Following the lecture, we’re going to have a party! We’ll turn off the recording, hang out and celebrate. Karima had the wonderful idea of us each bringing an item to share, whether it be an artwork, song, object, poem, dream, selection of writing or anything else, and we’ll take turns presenting while the others share any free associations, thoughts or feelings the piece evokes. It’s also my birthday month, so we’ll be celebrating that as well. Let me know if you’re celebrating a summer birthday, too! We’ll meet for 2+ hours beginning at 12 NYC (5PM London). July 18th – I will be hosting a LIVE Rendering Unconscious Podcast event to celebrate the one year anniversary of RU Center with special guests Mary Wild, Emmalea Russo, and Mikita Brottman. More TBA! We’ll meet for 90 minutes beginning at 12 NYC (5PM London). All paid subscribers at RU Podcast and RU Center Substacks will receive the ZOOM LINK to attend live. Participation is encouraged (not required). I’d love to hear all of your thoughts, comments, and impressions of the past year!
